Fast and Furious 5 – Car List

In 2011 has released the latest movie from Fast and Furious, the Fast and Furious 5. We know that Fast and Furious is an action film about illegal street racing in Los Angeles, California which is dominated by exotic cars. starting from the first time this movie came out that The Fast and The Furious, then the second 2 Fast and 2 Furious, the third Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift, Fast Furious 4 fourth, and that came out in 2011 was the Fast and Furious 5. The fifth series of the movie Fast and Furious, Fast Five, ready to debut this summer, releasing another round of “nos”-joy to eat. To anticipate the chaos of vehicles that were promised, they were people in the Inside Line caught up with Dennis McCarthy, the man behind the stable hot rod featured in the movie.

The first is, one-off tube-odd frames of a car transporter offroad lovingly nicknamed “Mongo.” Mongo is designed to help Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in filching exotic cars from a moving train. To our eyes, Mongo looks ready to do that, plus sports-600-502 horsepower cubic-inch Chevrolet V8, 7:10 gears and 18-inch suspension travel. According to McCarthy, Mongo do the stunts himself, completing a jump 75 feet and driving away without injury. Wow.

The next sample in the current palette is probably the most famous cars to come out of the Fast and the Furious franchise, 1970 Dodge Charger Dom Toretto. Although the film sports cars in the 900-horsepower supercharged Hemi, maintain low costs dictate a little tamer set to true workhorses movie. In a stuntman-ready trim, Charger sported block 400-hp Chevy small (sorry, Mopar fans …) and a maximum of BDS blowers destroyed just for effect. According to IL, it was hard, scary and uncomfortable to drive, just the way any self respecting mock-up should be.

The car was last on the list is the star of the five fast cars silver replica of the 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, built by Motorsports Luwak. It features the ubiquitous Chevrolet 502 big block, supported by sticks Borg Warner Super T-10 four speed. The combination of rides on C3 Corvette suspension, which struggled to handle nearly 600 horse hair inserted into the frame.

After weeks of harassment at the hands of Hollywood, no car feel as healthy as they used to. That said, they all still running, which can not be said for hundreds of other cars used in the film.
